Peter Gene Hernández2 (born in Honolulu Hawaii, October 8, 1985), 3 better known by his stage name Bruno Mars, is an American singer-songwriter and record producer of Filipino descent and a Puerto Rican mother by satellite through the father. Mars' music is noted for displaying a wide variety of styles and influences, and contains elements of many different musical genres. He has worked with a variety of artists from different genres; Mars acknowledges the influences that his collaborations have had on his own music.
